Recyclable abrasives
Recyclable abrasives are used in compressed air blast cleaning applications as well as in wheel blasting machines in enclosed recycling systems. This includes blast rooms, cabinets or other installations in which the abrasive material can be collected, cleaned and reused multiple times.
There are two different kinds of recyclable abrasives;
the so-called metallic abrasives, including steel grit, steel shot and chilled iron grit, and the non-metallic abrasives (or mineral abrasives) such as brown and white fused aluminium oxide, sintershot and sintergrit.
The recyclable range includes:
- Aluminium oxide (corundum) white or brown
- Chilled iron grit
- Steel shot and Steel grit
- Sinter shot and Sinter grit
