Building construction

Achieve your goals with high-quality abrasives and industrial minerals.

Building construction

Use our abrasives to remove dirt or other coatings from building surfaces or give your products a characteristic sheen and secure adhesion with our industrial minerals.

Our blasting abrasives clean houses and other building structures without damaging the surface. Blasting abrasives made of sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate or dolomite are perfect for blast cleaning stone or concrete.

But expendable blasting abrasives made of aluminium silicate or calcium carbonate are also highly suitable for façade cleaning. All our blasting abrasives can be used for dry, wet or whitewash blasting and contain no free crystalline silica.

Industrial minerals such as Asilux give facade elements the desired sheen. In the roofing sector, aluminium silicates such as Asilroof and iron silicates such as OK-grit increase the resistance of roofing felt to abrasion and UV radiation.

Products

Nastra

Abragrit

Abragrit is an iron silicate grit.

Asilit

Asilit New

The new Asilit is particularly suitable for the gentle cleaning of highly sensitive facades. The removal of graffiti and the blasting of wood, as may be necessary on half-timbered buildings, is also possible with the new Asilit.

Afesikos

Afesikos New

The new Afesikos is the ideal expendable blasting abrasive for particularly sensitive surfaces that should not come into contact with iron during the blasting process.

Asilikos New

The new Asilikos is a mineral, environmentally friendly blasting abrasive made from a mixture of synthetic aluminium silicate from melting chamber granulate and natural aluminium silicate from volcanic lava.

Asilroof

Asilroof

The aluminium silicate Asilroof significantly increases the resistance of roofing felt to abrasion and UV radiation.

Asilux

Asilux

The decorative mineral construction material Asilux gives concrete products and others a characteristic sheen.

Armex

Armex

It is water-soluble, odourless and slightly alkaline (pH-value of 8.2).

Dolomite

Doloblast / Microdol Dolomite

Doloblast/Microdol is a natural calcium/magnesium carbonate-based micro abrasive used frequently for wet blasting.

Eurocal und Durcal

Eurocal

Eurocal calcium carbonate is an abrasive with a very low hardness.

Fajalit

Fajalit

Fajalitis a granulated iron silicate material extracted at Boliden’s Rönnskär copper production facility in Sweden through a unique process called ‘fuming’ whereby the silicate is exposed to high temperatures, resulting in a very pure product.

Glass Granulate

Glass granulate is a glass abrasive media produced for impact blast finishing applications, made out of 100% recycled crushed glass.

Nastra

NAstra

NAstra is an iron silicate blast cleaning abrasive.

OK-grit

OK-grit

OK-grit is a granulated iron silicate. It is an iron silicate blast cleaning abrasive made with nickelslag from the Boliden Harjavalta nickel smelter in Finland where it is pre-screened.

Scorex

Scorex

Scorex is a blast cleaning grit made of iron furnace slag, also called calcium silicate.
