Afesikos

Afesikos is a synthetic, mineral, environmentally friendly blasting abrasive made from coal furnace slag similar to ISO 11126-4 N/CS/G, from which ferritic parts have been almost eliminated. Afesikos can be applied in accordance with the requirements of BGR 500 Part 2, Section 2.24, Working with blasting equipment (blasting work). The iron-free Afesikos abrasive is suitable for particularly sensitive surfaces that must not come into contact with iron during the blasting process – for example, stainless steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. With the same outstanding properties as our other blasting media made of slag tap granulate, Afesikos is also suitable for particularly gentle blast cleaning.
