Asilit

Asilit is a synthetic, mineral, environmentally friendly blasting abrasive made from coal furnace slag similar to ISO 11126-4 N/CS/G. Asilit can be applied in accordance with the requirements of BGR 500 Part 2, Section 2.24, Working with blasting equipment (blasting work). Asilit is particularly suitable for the gentle cleaning of highly sensitive facades. It has already been used on historic buildings such as Cologne Cathedral and the Rotes Rathaus (Red City Hall) in Berlin. The removal of graffiti and the blasting of wood, as may be necessary on half-timbered buildings, is also possible with Asilit.
