Softblast is made of a blend of crushed nutshells, seed stones and fruit pits (i.e. from cherries, apricots, etc.).

The particles are durable and can be re-used several times. Softblast can be used successfully in cleaning operations where abrading of the surface must be avoided. Softblast will not mar the original finish or crystalline base of the treated surface. Softblast is a non-abrasive material. It cannot damage, etch or mar metal. No masking of precision machined parts or threads are required. It can be used in conjunction with standard blast cleaning equipment. It is safe, non-hazardous, non-toxic and it contains no free silica.
